#GivingTuesdayNow 2020

One Day. Over Six-hundred Gifts. Thousands of MSU Students Supported.

#GivingTuesdayNow

MSU invited all Spartans to collectively support the vital needs for students that arose as a result of the novel coronavirus crisis on #GivingTuesdayNow.

ONE DAY. 24 HOURS.

#GivingTuesdayNow was a global day of giving and unity that took place May 5, 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by the novel coronavirus. The day was designed to drive an influx of generosity, citizen engagement, business and philanthropy activation and support for communities and nonprofits around the world.

Through MSU’s CrowdPower platform, donors were able to find projects that addressed emerging needs such as emergency funds for students and resources for the entire Spartan Community.

#GivingTuesdayNow was an opportunity for Spartans to come together and give back in many ways, no matter who they are or where they live.

The outpouring of support for our students was incredible! We are so grateful for the generosity shown by our donors.
