LEADERSHIP CIRCLE recognizes donors whose annual gifts of $1,000 or more help pave the way for student success and deliver extraordinary opportunities for learning and discovery at Michigan State.

Giving at the leadership level opens doors of opportunity for both current and future Spartans. Whether for academics, research, athletics or the arts, annual leadership gifts ensure students are on a path to success and well on their way to having an extraordinary impact in Michigan, the country and beyond.

$1,000 – $2,499 per year
SPARTAN GREAT
$2,500 – $4,999 per year
SPARTAN BOLD
$5,000 – $9,999 per year
SPARTAN INSPIRED
$10,000 – $19,999 per year
SPARTAN EXTRAORDINARY
$20,000 or more per year

Recognition begins July 1 each year and is based on gifts made during MSU’s previous fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).

In the last fiscal year 2,335 MSU parents gave multiple programs and causes across campus their best shot, with Fostering Academics Mentoring Excellence program, or FAME being one of the biggest beneficiaries of their generosity.

Donor support allows Lyman Briggs College to zoom in and offer the right tools to students, such as Briggs Connect—an online hub that fosters relationships between current and former Briggsies.
