Support Student Success and Wellness

Every students story is different. Sometimes it’s the loss of a job, an illness or death in the family, or an unforeseen housing disruption. Even in normal times, students face situations that can jeopardize their ability to continue their MSU education. And everyone knows 2020 has been anything but normal.

Your Support Will Make a Difference

Since the start of the COVID-19 crisis, gifts from fellow MSU parents have helped provide a lifeline to students struggling with emergency difficulties associated with the Pandemic or other hardships. Join fellow MSU parents and families by helping strengthen vital support resources enhancing student success and wellness. We have highlighted a few funds that will allow your gift to make an important impact for many students.

  • Spartan Parents Impact Fund: The Parent Impact Fund directly impacts student success outcomes for MSU students. In addition to supporting academic and experiential programing, the Parent Impact Fund provides critical funding assistance for students facing emergencies such as job loss, sudden illness, loss of family members, fire, theft, etc. In the current virtual environment, gifts are help provide students in need with the resources they need to achieve academically, like mobile WIFI hotspots and other critical supplies.
  • Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS): MSU CAPS is the primary mental health center for MSU students. CAPS is committed to connecting every student to the care he or she needs to be academically successful and healthy. Your support will helps CAPS support more Spartans in need as our community continues to adjust to the uncertainty and challenges associated with the current crisis.
  • Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities (RCPD): The Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities (RCPD) was created to provide equal access to a university education for all students. Your support helps the RCPD provide services and support to students with mobility, visual, and hearing disabilities, as well as those with learning disabilities, brain injuries, psychiatric, and various chronic health conditions.
Spartan parents power student success. If you are able, please consider making a gift to one of these critical resources supporting Spartan students today. Your support changes lives.
