#WeRCAHnnected: Student Scholarship Support
In these uncertain times, your donations to RCAH scholarship funds are more important than ever.
It’s no secret that students and families are facing even tougher times trying to pay for college. About 10 percent of RCAH students receive scholarships from the College, for an average of about $1,500 per student. (This is in addition to the aid they might be receiving from MSU.)
For many students we hear from, scholarships are the reason they are able to attend college.
“With your generous support, I will be able to enter the 2020-2021 academic year with more access to opportunities that will help me reach this goal of working with people through art around the world,” one student said.
Your Support Makes Dreams a Reality
Every penny you donate goes directly to student scholarships, and the impact is huge.
Another student told us:
“With your generous support, I am able to make my goals and dreams a reality. I will be able to enter this academic year knowing that I have access to opportunities that will help me achieve greatness.”
Your gift ensures that students from a wide diversity of backgrounds can attend RCAH. And, as we see in the amazing work of our alumni, when students become more globally minded citizens, they engage with their communities to offer creative solutions and innovative collaborations that contribute to the common good.
A few years ago, two scholarship funds for RCAH students emerged out of the generosity of RCAH and Justin Morrill College alumni. Please help us reach our goal of $3,000. It might not look like a lot, but for many students, it is the reason they can enroll in college. This will provide us with enough money to provide support to two students.
This has been one of the most difficult years for all of us, and just about every one of us can name personal reasons why. Especially now, students need your support to continue their academic careers. Even in light of the pandemic, tumultuous summer, and uncertain times we live in, students want to go to college and prepare for their future.
