College of Natural Science Student Emergency Fund
In 2018, the College of Natural Science (NatSci) recognized a critical barrier to student success: financial emergencies. These unexpected challenges— like the inability to afford books, software, or tuition for a final semester, replacing a broken laptop, or managing food and housing insecurity—could derail even the most determined students.
To address this, the NatSci Emergency Fund was established. Since its inception, it has provided more than 170 students with the support needed to stay in school and complete their degrees.
Your Support Will Transform Lives
The NatSci Emergency Fund offers students one-time financial support to help them navigate financial emergencies and continue their studies. From covering the cost of books and tuition holds to addressing food insecurity or housing needs, these funds remove obstacles that could otherwise halt a student’s progress. Your gift to the College of Natural Science Undergraduate Emergency Assistance Fund will help to support students in need and give them the stability to focus on their education and future.
