Support a paid intern at the MSU Museum!
The MSU Museum is Michigan State University’s museum of science and culture. We engage learners in powerful object based, informal learning experiences.
Our goal is to prepare future museum professionals through academically and professionally beneficial internships. Often internships are unpaid which limits the educational experience to students who can afford to volunteer their time. By offering a paid internship at the MSU Museum, we hope to provide opportunities for a more diverse range of applicants.
Your support will help cover the hourly wage of a paid internship for one academic semester. Your gift sends a message to MSU students and our wider community about the importance of preparing and diversifying future museum professionals.
Who We Are
The MSU Museum is the science and culture museum at Michigan State University. One of the earliest established museums in the nation, it has continued to preserve collections and serve learners since its opening on the campus in 1857. The Museum reaches a broad and diverse audience through strong, varied, and accessible collections, field- and collections-based research, public service and education programs, traveling exhibits, and innovative partnerships with local, regional, statewide, national, and international organizations and institutions.
