Missaukee County 4-H
4-H members in Missaukee County have the opportunity to connect with their peers and volunteers through the learn-by-doing approach. Based on the experiential learning model 4-H members are taught critical life skills such as goal setting, self-discipline, conflict resolution and teamwork that directly contributes to the communities they live in. Support from the community has always helped drive great experiences for youth in Missaukee County.
With your support we can expand access to opportunities for young people in Missaukee County. Life experiences include summer camps, educational trips, local family engagement programs and other youth led programs. Having community support for these programs helps to reduce the costs for participating youth.
Support Missaukee County 4-H program
Your contribution will provide the opportunity to purchase updated educational curriculum, equipment, programming needs and program supplies. By contributing to this fundraising campaign, costs remain low for participants. Budgets for each program are carefully constructed to make programs accessible for all. With your support, these programs will assist in reaching a broader audience which in return, will give more youth a rich educational 4-H experience.

Today more than ever our youth need your help to become the leaders of tomorrow. Through 4-H youth practice life skills. This is just one of the many positive youth development outcomes that occur from their participation in 4-H and results in a direct impact on not only themselves but on the youth they interact with as well. An investment in 4-H is an investment in the youth of Missaukee County.
4-H is a youth development program of Michigan State University Extension located in Missaukee County. The Missaukee County 4-H Council is excited to grow the local program.
