Marquette County 4-H

4-H is a youth serving organization that helps youth grow through projects of their choosing. They gain a sense of belonging, independence, mastery, and generosity as they enhance their skills and confidence.

Last year, Marquette County 4-H served 283 youth in organized 4-H clubs. Clubs in the county range from creative arts, community service, discovering local history, livestock, pocket pets, fishing, and outdoor adventures. There are also a variety of short-term programs such as: photography, geology, babysitting, yoga, gardening, teen movies, Harry Potter, Spring Break Learning Kits, and more. Beyond club work, the 4-H program works with local schools and agencies to provide enrichment programs, like embryology, and special events, like Spooky Science Night. Last year, we served an additional 900 local youth through these programs.

And we’re not stopping there- our goal is to help as many youth as we possibly can. With your help, we will get closer to our goal!

Your Support Will Make a Big Difference

Please help today’s youth become tomorrow’s leaders. Your support will provide opportunities for more youth in Marquette County. It will mean that we will have the funds needed to promote our programs more widely, purchase more supplies for clubs and special events, and provide scholarships for youth to attend programs beyond our county borders.
