Swanson Endowment Fund for Library Student Employees
The Swanson Endowment Fund supports library student employees with preference given to Honors College students. This endowment enables the Library to provide the most competitive student wages possible, directly impacting students.
The role of students in the operation of the MSU Libraries is crucial, providing staffing for service points and behind the scenes processing. Not only does this employment provide students with needed and valuable financial aid to support their education, but students learn information gathering skills that enhance their chances for success in college and beyond. The Kim L. and Judith A. Swanson Michigan State University Endowment for Library Student Employees will use the expendable amount to provide competitive student wages for student workers across the Libraries as well as help students build important skill sets for their careers.
Support the Swanson Endowment and help us provide the most competitive wages possible to our student employees!
