Makerspace Enrichment for Student Success
University can be stressful for students. With full schedules, internships, part-time jobs, and research, it's hard-to-find time to unwind.
At the Makerspace (located on 2-west of the MSU Main Library), we foster a creative hands-on environment where students can gain technical skills, explore interests, and find a supportive community. With events addressing both skill-building and well-being, the Makerspace offers vital outlets for student creativity and stress relief.
From Perler beads, Sewing, Clothing Repair-A-Thon’s, and even learning how to use a CnC machine or 3D printing, the Makerspace has so much to offer.
Your Support Will Make a Big Difference
Your support will help sustain the Makerspace's workshops and events from technology education to stress relieving crafting sessions, your support ensures that all MSU students have access to this inclusive space for hands on learning and collaboration.
The project will help continue to have a space for students to unwind with others between busy class schedules.
Project Budget
Your support ensures all our events are free and open to everyone. Funds go directly to materials and supplies so that students can participate without financial barriers. Donations also support the upkeep and improvement of equipment, allowing us to support the growing student involvement in the makerspace.
Who We Are
