Project Curriculum and educational materials for 4-H Clubs and Volunteers

Lake County 4-H would like to provide 4-H curriculum and educational materials to 4-H volunteers to use with young people. Doing so will extend and enhance youth’s learning with fun, hands-on activities, provide an outside source of information that will be a positive reinforcement to club learning, and offer a different point of view about the same subject matter which may help youth comprehend and apply their newfound knowledge.

Donate to Lake County 4-H

4-H curriculum, materials, and activities engage youth in processes of discovery and exploration through hands-on learning. With CrowdPower donations, the Lake County 4-H program will be able to provide 4-H volunteers with numerous 4-H project curriculum on everything from sewing to financial literacy, poultry to safety, healthy living to gardening, and all that comes in between. Donations will also allow for the purchase of 3 Learning Lab Kits through Ohio State University.

These kits are species specific and interactive. The activities range from species identification cards to advanced learning around genetics and animal health. By providing opportunities to learn and grow, 4-H youth develop skills, connect with others, reach their goals, and develop a sense of community which unites all of us! This is what 4-H is all about!
