Kellogg Bird Sanctuary Bus Scholarships
Give to the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary Bus Scholarships and help send hundreds of K-12 students on a field trip to MSU’s world famous Kellogg Bird Sanctuary!
The Kellogg Bird Sanctuary offers field trips to complement classroom learning. Field trips include Birding Basics, Meet & Greet with live Birds of Prey, and All About Owls!
Each year over 1,500 school-aged children visit on field trips. But there is a capacity for more with your gift today!
What People Are Saying
“… is a wonderful opportunity for ALL students in our class to be enriched by the outdoors and to make things more equitable among students by bringing opportunities to some students that have not previously been able to explore nature in this setting.”
“…thank you for providing the opportunity for students to learn from and interact with nature, letting the students see biology come to life.”
“…a wonderful way to integrate the ‘real world’ into our studies, and Michigan owls in particular.”
”…opportunity to see biology come alive outside the classroom.”
Who We Are
Since 1927, MSU’s Kellogg Bird Sanctuary has been a hotspot location for migrating birds and waterfowl. Explore our three miles of trails and diverse habitats surrounding Wintergreen Lake, the heart of the Sanctuary grounds. See a variety of birds that call the Sanctuary home, including waterfowl, gamebirds, songbirds and raptors. The Sanctuary is a great place for birding, nature photography, and enjoying a walk outside.
