MSU College of Education $24 for 24
For 24 consecutive years, Michigan State University’s graduate programs in elementary and secondary education have been ranked number one in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. During that time, thousands of Spartans have become leaders in their fields, many supported by student scholarships.
As graduates and members of the College of Education Alumni Board, we take great pride in continuing to serve the College of Education and all of its extraordinary students and alumni. One way we do this is by providing scholarships that can ease the financial burden on students and allow them to focus on their studies.
We need help from our fellow alumni to grow and continue making these scholarships possible! In celebration of the 24th year of ranking number one, we ask you to consider donating $24 to support scholarships in the college.
Your Support Will Make a Big Difference
Each year, the College of Education Alumni Board awards scholarships to four or five students who use the funds during a critical time—their internship. This support lessens the financial impact faced during the full-year teaching internship as well as during the field-based internship for kinesiology students.
With your individual gift, our collective power will help more students complete their important final year of career preparation. We can ensure that not only current but also future students have the opportunity to earn an outstanding education and empower other alumni and their communities.
Reaching our goal of $5,000 will not only help us provide scholarships to current students but also help us move closer to the ultimate goal: establishing an endowed fund that will last into perpetuity.
Who We Are
The College of Education Alumni Board is comprised of 20 College of Education graduates, each representing various professional careers and life stages. We are committed to advancing the College of Education mission and supporting its faculty, current and future students, and friends.
We also provide leadership and programs on behalf of the 62,000 Spartan education and kinesiology alumni. Board activities include supporting professional development opportunities, providing student scholarships and hosting alumni receptions.
