Dr. Paulette C. Walker Endowment - LegacEE Line Campaign

The Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority Incorporated was chartered on April 30, 1961, at Michigan State University by eight young women fully immersed in the spirit of Delta.

The Dr. Paulette C. Walker Endowed Scholarship (PCWES) was established in 2012 by the Epsilon Epsilon Chapter alumnae of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated following the chapters 50th Anniversary in 2011. The fund was born from alums acting on their love for Michigan State University (MSU) and their passion for helping students achieve their dreams for higher education. The fund was created to award current members of the Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, for their demonstrated leadership, commitment to the Sorority, to the African American culture, and to the community. The endowment will fund the Dr. Paulette C. Walker Scholarship for Leaders, the Charter Members Scholarship for Breaking New Ground, and the Ingrid Saunders Jones Scholarship for Service.

Your Support Makes a Difference

The scholarship fund will continue to benefit Spartan Deltas into perpetuity. Envision a future where even more collegiate Sorors can benefit from the funds we now raise. Imagine a future where members of the chapter could be awarded full tuition from this endowment fund, all due to the actions we take today.

The goal for this 60th year campaign is to raise $60,000, as we build upon our legacy.
Gifts to the Dr. Paulette C. Walker Endowed Fund directly benefit students at Michigan State University.

The awards are granted based on:

  • Financial Need
  • Demonstrated Commitment to The Sorority
  • Demonstrated Commitment to African American Culture
  • Demonstrated Commitment to the Community.

Special emphasis is placed on:

  • Leadership Skills
  • Intellectual and Cultural Enrichment
  • Community Service
  • Academic Interest in topics such as Race, Gender, and Multiculturalism.
