Support the Chicano/Latino Studies Program
This student success fund will help us meet two pressing issues that prevent students from making academic progress.
The first issue pertains to unpaid internships. CLS offers tailored internship opportunities for undergraduate students, but not all opportunities are paid. This can mean that students have to forego valuable work experiences and connection building necessary for success post-graduation. Donating to this fund will mean that CLS faculty and staff can continue to help undergrads dream big in their internship experiences.
The second use of this student success fund comes in form of emergency funding. When tough times happen, having an added layer of community support from Chicano/Latino Studies can often make the difference if a student can feasibly continue to pursue their education.
Give to the Chicano/Latino Studies' Student Success Fund
Please help us in donating to a student success fund. This gift account will help to support undergraduate students doing unpaid internships through CLS. Many students must forego valuable internships because of a lack of paid opportunities. This will ensure our CLS students have a chance to set themselves up for a successful future post-graduation. In addition, this fund will be used to help undergrad and graduate students for emergencies. Providing this kind of support during tough times can make a difference for our students’ continued academic success.
