The Department of Romance and Classical Studies actively approaches research, teaching and service from an inclusive and global perspective as we dialogue with the various cultures media, literatures and languages of the past and present. Our students leave our programs with a profound understanding and admiration of the similarities and differences that we share. Through education and encouragement about diverse cultures, students and faculty promote positive and sustainable change in our world.
