Since the dawn of its’ existence, Michigan State University has been teaching and graduating entrepreneurs. Today, the Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation continues that legacy at MSU. As a nationally ranked campus-wide university entrepreneurship program, the Burgess Institute engages thousands of students each year in classes, curriculum, and venture creation programming.
Through philanthropic contributions and devotion of time, expertise, and talents, the collective power of the Spartan Founders Club will enable the Burgess Institute to scale its impact on the students of today and the innovators of tomorrow. Your gifts will directly support the next generation of Spartan entrepreneurs. Collectively, we’ll work together to advance MSU’s entrepreneurship & innovation ecosystem to new heights.
Your initial commitment to the Spartan Founders Club is confirmed through an annual $3,000 philanthropic donation to the Burgess Institute for three years. At the end of your original three-year term, you will be invited to renew your commitment. Donors have the option of making gifts online either as a one-time gift of $9,000 for all three years, an annual gift of $3,000 or a monthly gift of $250.
If you are creating a recurring monthly donation, you'll need to cancel the gift when you have completed your commitment by contacting University Advancement at (517) 884-1000 or uadv.msuannualfund@msu.edu.
