Your Impact: Southern California
Dan Romanelli at the Broad Art Museum in Los Angeles
May 29, 2018Southern California campaign donors gathered in Spring, 2017 at the Broad Art Museum in Los Angeles to celebrate and hear more about the impact of MSU’s Empower Extraordinary campaign. Spartans made the most of the museum’s engaging exhibitions. Here Dan Romanelli, ‘64, is dwarfed by artist Robert Therrien’s super-sized table.
A Spartan in Hollywood, Dan is credited with beginning the trend of movie studios capitalizing on their franchises and commercializing them with consumer products, giving us the landscape we know today. He founded the Warner Bros. Consumer Products Division in the 80s, and served as its President for 23 years. A Hospitality Business graduate, Dan received the Eli Broad College of Business outstanding alumni award in 2000. He is a Snyder Society donor.
