Wayne County 4-H Youth Development Program

A group of students from the wayne county 4-hYoung people in Wayne County are diverse, creative, energetic, and optimistic! The 4-H Youth Development Program in Wayne County provides opportunities for 4-H members to connect with peers,  adult volunteers, and different communities through county, state, national and global programming delivered through virtual, home based experiential projects, and future face-to-face hands-on experiences.

With your support we can reach more youth in Wayne County by increasing access to these opportunities by eliminating the increasing challenges youth and their families are experiencing currently.

Donating to Wayne County 4-H increases equity and access to 4-H for all young people.

Your generous contribution will purchase national peer reviewed curriculum, hands-on educational kits, program scholarships, and 4-H Club Starter-Charter materials. Any donation is greatly appreciated. 4-H curriculum offers youth learning activities that reinforce Next Generation Science Standards and Michigan Core Standards. Educational kits provide the supplies necessary to experiment and connect with nationally recognized engineers and scientists. Program scholarships assist youth attendance at state, national and global experiences which encourage youth voice and empowerment. Youth are encouraged to start 4-H Clubs focused on project areas they deem important for development of their life-skills. 4-H Club Start-Charter Kits provide materials for smooth beginnings.

Wayne County 4-H Youth Development Program

The global pandemic and social unrest have created unprecedented challenges for young people. Your donation is needed to support our Wayne County youth on the journey to becoming future leaders in our neighborhoods, our universities, our government, and our corporations.

Michigan 4-H is the positive youth development program of Michigan State University Extension located in Wayne County. Our diverse and experienced 4-H Volunteer Leaders are championing the growth of the 4-H Program in neighborhoods across Wayne County, so all youth participate and develop mastery in project areas they enjoy.
