Support Impact 89FM!
Impact 89FM provides opportunities for all MSU students to learn about broadcasting, journalism, marketing, and much more. Throughout its 30+ year history, the station has expanded the ways it serves the students of Michigan State University and the greater community. Many types of content are broadcast over the FM airwaves, as well as through a significant web presence utilizing social media, website, video and podcasts.
The staff has continued to further their outreach to MSU student organizations and the Greater Lansing community. Student broadcasters are regularly found DJing, broadcasting live or staffing information tables at events hosted on and off campus, including concerts, fairs, conferences, and other celebrations.
Give to Impact 89FM and Help Replace the Remote Broadcast Van
Impact 89FM provides free event DJ services to registered student organizations and other organizations at MSU. To get there, students need a broadcast vehicle to transport equipment and promotional materials. The current van in use was purchased over ten years ago, and it's showing its age. The replacement of the broadcast van will allow students to continue providing DJ services across campus, as well as expand the number of promotional events in a safe manner.
Who We Are
Impact 89FM is one of the largest student organizations on the campus of Michigan State University. It operates as a 24-hour broadcast and online media organization, serving the MSU community and Greater Lansing radio market with the best music, news and sports coverage.
Students run all aspects of the station operations, including teams focusing on music, marketing, visual media, audio production, news, entertainment, and sports.
