Asian Pacific American Student Leadership Endowment Fund

In Summer 2023, the Asian Pacific American Student Organization (APASO) celebrated its 40th anniversary with a reunion bringing many past and present members to East Lansing, including the Founding Mother, Sandy Tsuneyoshi . In celebration of this historic anniversary of APASO, the MSU community is continuing the support of the Asian Pacific American Student Leadership Fund at MSU and promoting a culture of belonging.

Make a Gift and Support Student Leaders at MSU

The Asian Pacific Student Leadership Endowment Fund was established to support student leadership involvement with the Asian Pacific American community at Michigan State University. Gifts to this fund help to cultivate and support initiatives that develop the leadership of students engaged with the Asian Pacific Islander Desi-American (APIDA/A) community throughout the academic year. Funds will be awarded to individual students who have demonstrated leadership potential within the Asian Pacific American community as well as to eligible student organizations which sponsor activities that provide opportunities for Asian Pacific American students to develop their leadership skills and potential.

Who We Are

The Asian Pacific American Student Organization (APASO) was founded in 1982. Over the years, APASO has emerged as the collective political voice of the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA/A) student community at Michigan State University. APASO is active in presenting programs and activities in social, cultural, academic, and political areas.
