School of Journalism Student Projects
The MSU Journalism program is one of the oldest and most vibrant programs in the country. The student experience has always been built on learning journalism by engaging with real events and real people.
Students need to go where the stories are, and stories are out in the community, across the state, and nationwide. Student journalists benefit from traveling to other communities to cover deeper topics, sports journalists benefit from attending Spartan athletic events, and environmental reporters must immerse themselves in the place. It’s important we make these learning opportunities available to all our students.
Give to the student projects fund and help our student journalists travel to where the stories are.
The MSU Journalism program is known for providing students with experiential hands-on learning and research, spanning traditional media to developing innovative technologies for educational and professional uses. Your support will enhance the students’ experience as they embark on their journey of journalism success.
