James Madison College Emergency Scholarship Fund

Thank you to the dozens of alumni and friends that have contributed thus far.  Your gifts are already having a positive impact for our students.  Well over 50% of the funds raised have already been awarded. Together we are mitigating the spread of COVID-19 around the world and its impact on our students here at James Madison College.

We are all in a state of emergency, but not all students have been impacted equally. Due to loss of employment and increasing economic difficulties, many students are facing critical financial challenges that jeopardize their ability to continue their Madison education. Thanks to the generosity of alumni and friends, the college has been able to provide immediate relief to students in danger of being sidetracked by this pandemic, or another economic hardship, through the JMC Emergency Scholarship Fund.

Give to James Madison College and help Madison students stay in school and reach graduation!

Since last month, James Madison College has awarded over $11,000 in emergency scholarships to 12 students impacted by the current national crisis. These funds can be used to pay for basic needs, like food and housing costs, as well as transportation, medical care, and other urgent expenses. As more students seek assistance from the college, additional funds are needed to provide all those in the Madison community with the urgent support necessary to reach academic goals.

We face unprecedented challenges, but together, we have the power to make an enormous impact. The world needs more Madison grads, now more than ever. If you are in a position to do so, please help our students stay on the right track and complete their Madison education by making a donation today.
