Support Counseling and Psychiatric Services at MSU

MSU Greenline is hosting its triannual Full Court Support event to benefit MSU’s Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS). Since the first Full Court Support in 2012, students have raised over $14,000 for various MSU programs, scholarships, and causes.

We invite you to get involved in our event by participating in our dodgeball tournament at Demonstration Hall Field on September 17th at 4:30pm. The suggested donations include $5 to play, $2 to watch; however, any and all support is greatly appreciated.

MSU Greenline is proud to run this event in coordination with OneBigWeek, a joint effort of MSU and our fellow Big Ten institutions to show the collective impact of our donors. This week, Spartans and friends can come together and show our impact, by supporting MSU students and campus initiatives.

For more information on how you can participate, contact Nikki Hawthorne at

Your Support Will Make a Big Difference

CAPS is the place on campus for students seeking help for a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress management, homesickness, adjustment or acculturation, relationships, gender identity and sexual orientation (LBGTQ) concerns, substance abuse, trauma, eating or body image concerns, and other personal mental health concerns. CAPS combines the services of the former MSU Counseling Center and former Olin Psychiatry Clinic to provide improved access for students. Additional services are available by referral in the Neighborhood Engagement Centers, and the MSU Student Union building.

CAPS is committed to putting students first.

Their commitment to diversity means creating a welcoming, safe, inclusive, equitable, and affirming environment for each student. They believe diversity enriches learning, enhances personal growth, and takes into account all aspects of a student’s identity, such as age, body size/shape, disability/ability, socioeconomic status, political affiliation, nationality, race, ethnicity, culture, religion/spirituality, language, sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual/romantic orientation, values and beliefs.
