College of Engineering Student Emergency Fund

Engineers know that if something doesn’t work as anticipated, we identify the problem and mitigate it. That is the case right now as a number of our students are facing financial challenges and uncertainties. Some students have differing access to virtual instruction. Others cannot pay bills or living expenses because they lost their part-time jobs. Still others cannot afford emergency travel expenses.

Help create a lifeline for our most vulnerable students

Gifts to the College of Engineering Student Emergency Fund will provide necessary financial support to the students who need our help. Gifts will support students who are challenged with accessing basic necessities such as housing, food, medical care or required technology resources leveraged to ensure reliable connectivity for remote learning. Gifts will also support students who experience a loss of total family income due to employment impacts experienced by their parents and to support students access to additional academic resources that will assist in positioning the student for academic success.

Engineering students will apply for funds and a small committee of college members will respond and ensure the funds are disbursed quickly. The project is being coordinated in partnership with college leaders.

You can make the difference for Spartan students. Your generosity can change a life.
