BioMolecular Science Gateway Professional Development Fund
The BioMolecular Science Gateway (BMS) provides a community for approximately 200 doctoral students in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology; Cell & Molecular Biology; Genetics & Genome Sciences; Microbiology and Molecular Genetics; Molecular, Cellular, and Integrative Physiology; and Pharmacology and Toxicology.
The professional development fund will be used to develop the BMS’s ability to expose BMS students to different careers, improve their scientific communication, build leadership potential, manage lab finances, and strengthen scientific writing.
Your Support Will Make a Big Difference
As our first project, we would like to invite the team of science communicators who host the podcast Skeptics Guide to the Universe to talk about their career journeys and record a live show.
We would love your support in bringing in more guest speakers from different scientific industries. Your support would allow students to attend site visits, provide learning materials, and lead their own workshops.
