Accounting Student Emergency Support

Students occasionally run into difficulties which require emergency financial support. They often come to the department seeking assistance. Although the department has scholarship funds provided through generous alumni and corporate donations, these funds are awarded under a separate process and within restrictions set by the donors. The department seeks a separate emergency fund that can be accessed and utilized at any time we are approached by a student in need. These funds would provide short-term support which will assist with student retention and success in the accounting major.

Your Support Will Make a Big Difference

Support the Accounting and Information Systems department at the Eli Broad College of Business in lending a hand to students experiencing financial difficulties. Your contribution will create a fund we can rely upon at any time we are approached by a student experiencing a financial emergency. Your generous contribution will help students remain in school while seeking more permanent solutions.

Our goal of $10,000 will provide a pool of money that we can draw on to help our accounting students. You can be confident that we will vet the situation and provide appropriate support to students in need. Your donations will be utilized to assist students as needed with outstanding tuition, learning materials, housing, and living expenses.
