MSU Women’s Club Soccer is a 100 percent student-run and student-funded operation. All players pay to play to represent the school they love and are honored to attend. Students play soccer at a competitive level, but are still able to focus on their studies.
Last year, we had a successful season and competed in the National Championship in Phoenix, Arizona. We won the title of National Champions and aim to repeat this year in Foley, Alabama. With this comes a variety of expenses, and any donation would help our team return and represent the Green and White in winning fashion!
Money raised will allow the team to return to Nationals this year and defend our national title and the reputation of the program. We love MSU and are more than happy to get out on the field and use our talents to represent our school in a positive way.
Donations help with expenses the club comes across in the regular season, and the regional and national tournaments. Any funding we receive alleviates financial pressure the student athletes feel and allows them to focus on their studies, work, and other commitments. Players pay for field rental, referees, uniforms, travel expenses, and competition registration fees to name a few. Registration fees alone cost over $1,500. Our goal is to raise, and even surpass $5,000, and you can help us do that!
The team is composed of 24 student athletes and our coach. We have a leadership team of players consisting of a president, vice president, treasurer, and two co-secretaries. When it comes to supporting each other and helping out, everyone chips in and is active in seeking out ways to provide for the club and reach our goals.
