October 10, 2014Kristen Kelsay knows she can do anything if she puts her mind to it. A professorial assistantship her freshman year gave the psychology major and MSU women’s volleyball team captain the opportunity to work side by side with faculty and PhD students in a research lab. Now Kristen juggles defending the court and her senior thesis with focus and tenacity. Never resting on her academic or athletic laurels, the Academic All-American is setting herself up for success by making plans for graduate school—and by always keeping an open mind.
