Join us for a Green and White evening with fellow Spartans in Fort Lauderdale to hear students and leaders from the Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation share their current ventures.

Learn how the Burgess Institute is preparing the changemakers of tomorrow by empowering students to learn through action and develop an entrepreneurial mindset.

    Riley Cook - College of Engineering

    Riley is a sophomore in Computer Science and the co-founder of the student venture Colony, a crypto tech real estate business that will allow individuals to invest in real estate with no minimums and complete liquidity.

    Olivia Gargett - Eli Broad College of Business

    Olivia is a junior in Marketing. She is the founder and owner of OG’s Bakery, a student venture which offers delectable sweets that are perfect for any event, celebration or gathering.

    Hannah Gruber - College of Engineering

    Hannah is a senior in Biosystems Engineering. She is the co-founder of the student venture Branching Out, Inc., an agricultural business that will introduce grafted trees to the booming direct-to-consumer houseplant market.

    Chris Paul - College of Engineering

    Chris is a sophomore in Computer Science and Engineering. He is the co-founder and CEO of the student venture Colony, a crypto tech real estate business that will allow individuals to invest in real estate with no minimums and complete liquidity.

    Avery Tilley - College of Agriculture and Natural Resources

    Avery is a senior in Fisheries & Wildlife and Molecular Genetics & Genomics. He is the founder and director of operations of the student venture Branching Out, Inc., an agricultural business that will introduce grafted trees to the booming direct-to-consumer houseplant market.
