Support the MSU Tuba/Euphonium Studio
After 43 years of teaching tuba and euphonium at MSU, Phil Sinder is retiring. To celebrate his remarkable impact, gifts can be made in his honor to the Jim Self and Philip Sinder Endowment for Tuba and Euphonium — ensuring the resources to continue to support a strong studio. The endowment was established in 2022 by Phil in collaboration with American tubist and composer Jim Self.
Phil and Carolyn Sinder will generously match all donations 1:1 up to $5,000! Every dollar raised will have double the impact for the MSU Tuba/Euphonium studio.
Your Support Will Make a Big Difference
The Jim Self and Philip Sinder Endowment for Tuba and Euphonium funds an annual scholarship award to a student exemplifying leadership and musical progress. Additional funds are used as general-purpose resources for the tuba and euphonium studio.
