Michigan State University will be participating in #GivingTuesday, Dec. 1. #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving, is designed to drive an influx of generosity, citizen engagement, business and philanthropy activation and support for communities and nonprofits around the world. It’s a day where all Spartans and friends can come together and show our collective impact by supporting MSU students and campus initiatives.

This past May, the Spartan community showed how they can make a difference in one single day. On #GivingTuesdayNow, the global initiative to support the vital needs for students that arose as a result of the novel coronavirus, Spartans and friends donated over $76,500. Because of this generosity thousands of MSU students were impacted

Through MSU’s CrowdPower platform, donors can find many projects that address the needs of students and our campus partners, where even a small contribution can make a big difference.

To make a gift online Dec. 1, visit the #GivingTuesday webpage, find the fund(s) you would like to support and follow the steps to complete your gift(s). Gifts to any of the causes will greatly impact the lives of MSU students and members of the larger MSU community.
