THANK YOU for Your #GiveGreenDay Support

Faculty, staff and retiree donors were a significant driver for another successful #GiveGreenDay campaign, which saw more than $1.16 million raised to support programs and projects across MSU.

Faculty, staff and retirees were active throughout the day making gifts from the earliest hour to the very last minute.

Alyssa Baumann kicked off the day at 12:01 a.m. with a gift to a place near and dear: MSU Safe Place, where she serves as the program’s volunteer and advocacy coordinator.

And MSU Alumni Engagement Officer Taren Storrs brought the day to a close with her gift at 11:59 p.m. to fund a scholarship meaningful to her work and passion: the MSU Alumni Club of San Diego Endowed Scholarship Fund.

By the end of the day, 1,223 gifts had been tallied from MSU’s faculty, staff and retirees for a grand total of $155,967. Their collective support made up 13 percent of the total gifts for the day.
