About the Event

Join trailblazing Michigan governor and rising Democratic star Gretchen Whitmer for an engaging discussion about her memoir, "True Gretch." In this candid and often humorous account, Whitmer shares the insights that guided her through a global pandemic, showdowns with high-profile bullies and even a kidnapping and assassination plot.

Don't miss this opportunity to hear her remarkable story at her alma mater in East Lansing, where she will be in conversation with fellow Spartan and former governor, Jim Blanchard.

This is a ticketed event.

Price

Tickets are $40 per person. Each ticket comes with a signed hardcover copy of "True Gretch" provided by Hooked, a local independent bookstore in Lansing.

Space is limited and will sell out. Each person must register individually.

Notes

This will be a highly secured event where security guards will wand each in-person attendance with metal detectors. We ask that you leave jackets, purses and backpacks in your vehicles. The security team will send you back to your car if you bring items with you to the door.
