All U Campaign
College of Osteopathic Medicine
William D. Strampel, Dean

Dear Colleagues:

I don't have to tell you that this has been a difficult year, with financial challenges affecting everything that we attempt together. Though the college, like all of higher education in Michigan, has been profoundly impacted by the state's economy, I am proud of how you, the faculty and staff of MSUCOM, have responded. You did what you always do -- stayed positive, stepped up to the plate, refused to compromise excellence, and met the challenges with courage and resilience.

As a result of maintaining our high standards, we were recently ranked fourth by U.S.News & World Report among all primary care medical schools in the nation. Our emphases on research, the teaching and promotion of osteopathic manual medicine, and clinical excellence are bearing fruit. Our students are known throughout mid-Michigan for their community service and public education. Our diversity programs continue to be models for others to emulate.

Never before has your All U Campaign Gift to MSUCOM been more important or more needed, ensuring funding for some of our core projects. We're suggesting the funds listed below for your support this year.

Thank you for all you are and all you do. Your work is appreciated!

Sincerely,

William D. Strampel, DO
Dean
