$262.0 MILLION CAMPAIGN GOAL | 99% PROGRESS

Empowering Champions

We’re on a mission to enrich the experience for our Spartan supporters who provide our nearly 800 student-athletes—OUR CHAMPIONS—the best experience possible IN THE CLASSROOM, IN COMPETITION, AND IN THE COMMUNITY during their time at MSU.

Competing for championships within the prestigious Big Ten Conference is no easy task. With six team championships in 2013-2014—including a Men’s Basketball Big Ten Championship—not only are our student-athletes competing, but they are setting the standard of excellence.

The Spartans help to inspire others—from kids clinics—to reading to local classrooms, our Spartan student-athletes are making an impact in the community and showing the next generation how the heart of a Spartan extends beyond competition.

Your philanthropic gifts in support of these objectives provide resources necessary to keep MSU Athletics self-sustaining and competitive in today’s ever-changing intercollegiate landscape while also shaping the future of MSU Athletics.

Goal

MSU Athletics seeks to raise $262.0 million in the Empower Extraordinary campaign. We will achieve this goal with a mix of endowment and annual funds.

Progress

To date we have raised $260.3 million, but more private support is needed to achieve our full potential and propel this great university forward.
