Remembering Professor Tom Muth

We are saddened to share that Professor Thomas Muth passed away on Oct. 20.  Lansing State Journal Obituary (published Oct. 22, 2010)

Professor Muth retired in 2008 after more than 35 years of teaching, research and service to MSU. He joined the Department of Telecommunication, Information Studies and Media in 1973. In retirement, he continued to work in the technology and digital sectors in Michigan.

His work greatly affected Michigan's telecommunications community, and many others around him. He touched the hearts of his faculty colleagues and many students, and he will be greatly missed.
