Grand Rapids Research Center

A Vision for the future

The Grand Rapids Research Center (GRRC) is destined to become an epicenter for academic research, and through it, the MSU College of Human Medicine is drawing talent from scientists and researchers from nearly all university colleges and partner institutions. Laboratory areas will boast partial walls and movable benches. The center’s reach will stretch well beyond physical spaces to be an economic driver—it will be a magnet for business and drive growth in the biotechnology sector.

When full, the center will house 44 research teams ready to seek answers. The teams will address our most pressing problems, including Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases, pediatric neurology, cancer, autism, transplantation, women’s health, and more.
