Benefactors Plaza

At Michigan State University, dreams and aspirations are nourished, talents and passions are cultivated, and lives are transformed.

From modest beginnings in 1855, MSU has been built on the strength of its people. Their pride in its mission has transformed MSU into a renowned land grant institution. As a university with global reach, and with a research and education program of international distinction, MSU continues to serve as a touchstone for alumni and friends.

Benefactors Plaza is a tribute to the many whose significant financial gifts touch lives, encourage growth and stimulate never-ending progress at our extraordinary institution. Their generosity is profoundly appreciated.

Donor recognition within Benefactors Plaza concluded December 31, 2018, and coincided with the completion of the Empower Extraordinary campaign.

HONORING OUR DONORS

Dedicated in 2007, Benefactors Plaza commemorates the contributions of Michigan State University’s most generous donors through December 31, 2018. The people and organizations listed on these pillars have demonstrated an understanding of the value of MSU to individuals, communities and our world. They represent a new generation of donors who recognize the role of private support to maintain MSU’s excellence.

The contributions of those included in Benefactors Plaza echo across MSU’s campus each day through the search for knowledge and the creation of leaders ready for the challenges ahead. Benefactors Plaza is a symbol of MSU’s gratitude to those whose lifetime giving has surpassed the $100,000 level.

Located in the beautiful north end of MSU’s campus, Benefactors Plaza creates an inspiring walkway just steps away from the iconic Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum.
